My Pet Snake Competition!

The Wild Expo / Australian Frog & Reptile Show is just around the corner and this year visitors to our Reptile One stand have the exclusive opportunity to participate in our ‘My Pet Snake Competition!’

This year two winners will win the ultimate prize of a Juvenile Carpet Python and Reptile One 45cm RTT300T Terrarium and set up. Each prize is valued at $600!

To be in with a chance to win, all you have to do is:

Print out an entry form or pick up a form at our Reptile One Stand at the Wild Expo / Australian Frog & Reptile Show during the 30th April – 2nd May 2010
Fill it out the form in full
Place your entry form in the entry barrel that will be on display at the Reptile One stand at the Wild Expo / Australian Frog & Reptile Show 2010
Winners will be notified by the 7th May 2010

You must be over 18 years of age and hold a current Reptile Keepers Licence to enter this competition.

Wild Expo / The Australian Frog & Reptile Show

The Wild Expo and The Australian Frog & Reptile Show are combining in 2010 to bring you one of biggest events for all lovers of frogs, reptiles, marsupials, birds and bugs! Due to overwhelming popularity, the event is now being upgraded to Sydney Showgrounds, offering visitors a more central location and easier access to public transport. The expo will feature stage shows, demonstrations, hands on experiences, close encounters and more – the expo has been promoted as a great day out for the whole family. Visitors are invited to learn more about these fascinating animals and are invited to purchase their own pet from a number of breeders who will be present.

Whilst you’re there, don’t forget to drop by and say hello to us. We will be showcasing all of our new products and will have great displays setup, with some rare reptiles from the Northern Territory for you to check out.

Gates Open: 10am – 4pm, Fri, Sat, Sun.

Check out Adrian’s Reptile World – Now Available on DVD!

Adrian’s Reptile World went to air on television across the eastern states of Australia during 2009. It will air in early 2010 on the west coast and also be repeated in digital format on TVS in Sydney.

The series of 13 half hour episodes covers the reptile keeping hobby as it began in America and then ’road tests’ Australian reptiles as pets.
Many of the episodes include segments recorded in the field and show natural habitats as well as some behaviors captured for the first time. The show also includes interviews with home-grown experts across Australia and takes us on several field trips with a licensed reptile collector in WA.
